It offers a set of analytical tools focused on promoting and facilitating trade in the Arab region, and monitoring and evaluating countries’ performance in economic integration over the years using an interactive timeline integrated into the data visualization element on the site. SIMEAI provides dynamic filtering options to visualize countries’ integration status and it reveals which drivers will be most impactful on a country’s integration with target regions/countries. Moreover, it provides policymakers with a deeper analysis of countries’ regional integration by providing information that can lead to targeted policies, based on the experiences of other countries aiming to improve their own regional integration.
